<h1>Free Software Magazine—Comments competition</h1> <h2>Terms and conditions</h2>
<p>FSM is currently running competitions where you can win free software related books that we have reviewed. By entering you must agree and adhere to the following terms and conditions:</p>
<p>1. The competition is open to subscribers only. If you are not a member you can subscribe for free <a href=”/subscribe/”>here</a>.</p>
<p>2. Entrants must comment on a blog entry or article on Free Software Magazine’s website.</p>
<p>3. No entrant can win more than once per calendar month.</p>
<p>4. Our staff will choose the “best” comment from the comments made through the duration of the competition. Comments will be judged based on a number of criteria including, but not limited to: humour, clarity, brevity, relevance, and interest. The author of the winning comment will be the winner of the competition.</p>
<p>5. Free Software Magazine’s staff reserve the right to remove comments which are considered by us to be: inflammatory, abusive, pointless, or spam, or any combination of the above, or for any other reason deemed necessary.
<p>6. The winner will be contacted by Free Software Magazine within 14 days of the close of the competition. The winner will then be announced <a href=”/blog/1”>here</a>.</p>
<p>7. The winner will be required to provide a mailing address and contact phone number within 48 hours of being notified by Free Software Magazine, in order to facilitate delivery of the prize.</p>
<p>8. Free Software Magazine’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.</p>
<p>9. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred or exchanged.</p>
<p>10. There is no cash alternative.</p>
<p>11. This competition is not open to employees, volunteers or contractors of Free Software Magazine or any person directly or indirectly involved with the organisation of the competition or their direct family members.</p>
<p>12. Free Software Magazine reserves the right to cancel a competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in the opinion of the company, and if circumstances arise outside of the company’s control.</p>
