Hi, I am new to this forum. Does anyone know of an open source firmware replacement for the Sony Reader? I own both the 500 and the 505.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no free firmware replacement for the Sony Reader.
Luckily, the reader also works as a mass-storage device. However, people using Windows have access to software that OS X and Linux people can't get.
Sony needs to reform.
